Curry Sambose/ Kadhi Samosey

Curry Sambose/ Kadhi Samosey

So this time it isn't Saudi that inspired me .. but my very own India .. ❤ and this time I chise to be traditional for a change. Here's a very easy and extremely delicious and quiet traditional (hope so!)   'Kadhi Samosey' .. I have modified the original way to make the dish..made it a lot easier and hassle free..hope you enjoy!!

For the Curry/kadhi-
You'll need
3 tbsp of Gram Flour/Besan/Chane ka Aata
3-4 tbsp of Yoghurt (seived)
And 1 and half cup of Cocunut Milk. (you can use the instant cocunut powder and add water to it aswell)
2 Green chillies (this can increase acc to your taste)
1 small Onion finely chopped
Salt to taste
1 inch piece of Ginger
1 inch Cinnamon Stick/ Daalchini
2 cloves/ Laung
8-10 Curry Leaves/ Kadhi Patta
A pinch of Chinese Salt

For the Samosa
Now here's the trick, I dont make the samosa's..yup you read that right..no samosa's!! Its time consuming to make them and later crush them!!
How do I do it than??
Well, since you have to break the samosa's itself and add the Curry and the other ingredients to it.. Its better to make the potato mixture as we do for the samosa and fry the Samosa leaves separately!

The Potato Mixture
So..for the potatoes
5 Large potatoes boiled and.cut into small cubes
Add them in a bowl and add half a tsp of Garam Masala/All Spice powder
Half tsp Khatai Powder/Dried Mango Powder
Half an inch ginger (chopped)
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
1 tbsp Corainder-cumin powder/Dhanya-Jeera powder
1 tsp Cumin seeds/ Jeera
1 tsp Fennel seeds/ Saunf
Salt
1 chopped green chilli
And lots of Coriander leaves chopped
Mix them and keep them aside
For Garnishing
Chopped Corainder leaves
Ginger cut into thin strips
Onion finely chopped
Mint leaves finely chopped
And Tari, (take 2 tbsp oil and add 1 tsp heaped of red chilli powder)
Spring onions chopped
Chaat Masala
And finally fry the Samobosa Leaves...!!

How to assemble?
Take the potato mixture in a serving dish, dip them entirely with the Kadhi
Then add lots of fried samosa leaves and crush them with your hand
Top it up with corainder leaves, mint leaves, spring onions, and tari..
Add a pinch of chinese salt and chaat masala..and Enjoyy!
