BREAD CHAAT







Ok here's a quick. on the go snack, can be made easily and quickly and tastes great too..an alternate to the regular chats we mostly have..

Ingredients-
Bread- 4 slices (1 slice per person)
Onion- 1 cut in rounds
Tomato- 1 cut in rounds
Potato- 1 boiled and cut in rounds
Chickpeas- 100gm (i used the readymade ones)
Sev/Namkeen- for garnishing
Lemon juice- 2 tbsp

Dry Ingredients-
Chilli powder - As per need
Chaat masala- 1/2 tsp
Jeera powder- (freshly grounded)
Black Salt- a pinch
Mix them all in a bowl and keep aside.

Chutneys-
Tamarind- Jaggery Chutney
Green Chutney


Method
Cut the bread slices into four squares each and toast them in a pan or  toaster
Arrange them on a serving tray and spread Tamarind chutney on each square.



Layer #1-  Add the onion Rounds on the top of these squares and sprinkle the dry masala mixture on top of it along with some lemon juice


Layer #2- Add the potato rounds on each square pieces and spread the Tamarind-Jaggery chutney, and the green chutney.



Layer #3- Add the tomato rounds and sprinkle the dry masala on top of it and a bit of lemon juice




Layer  #4- Now carefully spread up the chickpeas on the tomatoes and sprinkle the dry masala, some chilli powder.
Garnish with Namkeen, and sev. Don't forget to sprinkle some salt!
