MACRONI CHAAT

Combining Italian with Indian can taste so good !

Since its the Ramadan season and chaat is one of the most indispensable part of the Iftar, so here's another twist to traditional Chana chaat.

Really simple and you will be amazed by how easy it is to make this delicious chaat.

Ingredients-

Macaroni- 1/2 packet boiled as per the instruction, you can take any shape, the smaller the better
Tomato- 1 medium sized finely chopped
Onion- 1 medium finely chopped
Green Chillies- as per your taste
Green Bell Pepper- 1 medium finely chopped and  (optional)
Salt
Chaat Masala
Potato- 1 Medium (fried or boiled and cut into cubes)
Lemon juice-lots of it
Sev- for decor

Method-

Firstly, fry the boiled potato cubes till you see a golden coating on the top of it. should take about 4-5 mins on non-stick pan.

Do the same with the pasta, fry till golden..this is just to add some colour to the chaat and its entirely optional.

Saute the bell pepper till crispy

Take a bowl and add pasta and potatoes, add the tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, green chillies, chaat masala, salt, lemon juice.

Garnish with Sev or Papdi and sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves.

Mix and combine well. Serve hot or Cold

I even added a pinch of black salt but again its optional. you can add any other ingredients to this according to your choice, this is just a basic version of a simple macaroni chaat.

You can even substitute this as masala for sev puri's chaat.
