Cheesy Tarts



Hello everyone..I'm back again after a long break and this time the excuse is that I was busy being a mommy!!


but hey..let's get to the point here..

Ingredients:-

Tart dough- you can get this ready made or make it at home. (my home made recipe will be in other post)
Green chillies- 2-3 finely chopped
Carrot- 1 small, very finely chopped
Onion- 1 small, finely diced
Bell-Pepper- 1 small, finely chopped, you can choose from the variety of the coloured ones available
Chicken- 200 gm boiled and shredded.
Oregano- 1 tsp for sprinkling on the top
Salt
Sugar
Black Pepper
Butter - 3 tbsp for white sauce, 1 tbsp for greasing the pan and the inner surface of the tart
Flour- 1 tbsp
Milk- 1/2 cup
Cheese- your choice, 3 tbsp
Olive Oil- 1/2 tsp


Let's get Started..!

Ok, so first things first, let's start with making the white sauce.

1- Melt the clarified butter in the pan , sift in the flour and roast it for a bit till you smell the beautiful aroma it gives out. Take it off the flame, add milk, whisk carefully to avoid lumps formation, add in the cheese and lower the heat and cook for 3 minutes exactly. Now the consistency of this sauce should be thicker than the usual ones required for the pasta.
(Now to this you can add a pinch of Garam Masala powder for an Indian touch.)

2- Ok, so next thing to do would be to add all the veggies in a pan and saute them on high flame in about 1/2 tsp of olive oil. Once done, add them in a bowl and add the white sauce to this.

3- To this add salt, black pepper, oregano, a bit of sugar and mix well.

4- Add in the shredded chicken and now spread them with loads of love on those delicious tarts!!

5- Bake them if you wish or serve them as is !

Quick easy and super delicious!
