IRAANI CHICKEN







So after a huge break, Im back with few more recipes..
Todays recipe is quick to make and has an entirely different taste from the traditional chicken gravy's..

Ingredients
Chicken - 1 KG (cut in style for Qorma)
Yoghurt - 1 cup
Cream - 1/3 cup (you can increase the quantity according to your personal preference)
Fried brown onion - 2 tbsp (grinned)
Almonds- 2 tbsp (grinded)
Cardamom Powder - a pinch
Kewra water- few drops
Black pepper- 2 tbsp
Ginger- Garlic paste- 11/2 tbsp
Lemon juice- 2 tbsp
Oil for frying
Salt


Method
In a bowl add the cut chicken pieces, lemon juice, salt and ginger garlic paste and marinate for 30 minutes.

Now in a deep bottom pan/utensil, hrat oil and add the marinated chicken and fry for 10 minutes.

After you see the chicken starts to leave water and change its color to white, add in whisked Yoghurt, cream, black pepper,and a bit of salt.

Allow to cook till tender.

Now, add grinded onion, cardanom powder, and ground almonds. Cook till gravy becomes thick and creamy.
Simmer till oul separates.

To add a bit of spice to this, I added two slit green chillies.

Coriander leaves to garnish.

Serve hot with Naan.
