HUMMUS

I'm a huge fan of hummus as a dip, as a spread,as a snack with pita bites, sandwiches, salads, burgers, pasta, shawerma... You name it and I can use hummus in every possible way. 

I have used it with breakfast, lunch and dinner alike .. and it never fails to make your taste buds happy !

This is the classical version of hummus, i have tried to add and experiment with different flavours in addition to this original recipe..and it turned out real great..

Some flavours to try are 
Roasted Garlic flavoured Hummus
Roasted Red Bell Pepper flavoured Hummus
Caramalised onion flavoured
Black bean flavoured...this list can be endless! 

Lets get straight to the grind ..
Good quality organic chickpeas - 2 cups home cooked/ store bought.
Garlic 3-4 cloves 
Tahini- 3-4 tbsp store bought preferred 
Salt
Ground Cumin 1/2 tsp
Fresh Lemon Juice 3-4 tbsp
Olive Oil- 3 Tbsp and more for seasoning.
Sumac- for seasoning

Water for mixing it to a smooth consistency. There is no measure for water as it is completely upon your liking.. i love it creamy. 
Tip- Use cold water for mixing. 

Spread that creamy goodness on to a shallow dish, take the back of the spoon and carve a path for your olive oil to spread ..😉..top it up with chopped fresh parsely and sprinkle sumac..
Paprika, caramalised onion ...etc.. the list of toppings is endless !!
