Tangy Chicken Curry


Hmmm, for all those who like eating sour and tangy and spicy at the same time, this recipe is for you..

Ingredients
Chicken- 1/2 kg
Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
All spice powder- 1 tsp
Salt
Tomatoes- 3 puree
Cashewnuts- 8-10 powdered
Vinegar- 1 tbsp
Cream- 1/2 cup
Green chillies- 3 sliced
Potato- 1 medium
Oil
Coal

On the stove
Take a bowl add chicken, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste and salt and marinate for 30 minutes.

Heat about 2 tbsp of oil and add the chicken marinade and fry for sometime.

Add the pureed tomatoes, cashewnuts, potatoes and green chillies to the chicken, and cook for somewhile.

Add the vinegar and cream, all spice powder and salt if required.

Cook till tender.

Heat coal and when its completely heated, transfer it into a small steel bowl and add 1 tsp of oil and quickly immerse this bowl inside the vessel and cover the lid. Continue for 15 minutes and remove the coal.

Once you open the lid..Ahh..the aroma of coal mixed with the spices will fill your kitchen..

(Now if you wish to make it more spicy-errr than you can add the Tikka masala or Tandoori masala or chillie flakes.)

Best served with Tandoori Roti!
